Al Bidda Park

Corniche
8am - 1pm 4pm - 7pm
It One of Qatar's most popular parks. This too is on the corniche and has some great views. All complete with waterfall, tower, blading track, and lake. Watch out though, it can get pretty packed. So unless you like crowds, make sure you don't go on weekends in the evening. This park has an amphitheatre, which is used for special events and shows. WIthin the park, you'll find Heritage Village which was desgined to look like a traditional Qatari village. There are a few shops here to buy some snacks and have some ice-cream, but you're not going there to really eat are you? The park stretches along two miles and can be accessed from any area. Parking is on the roadside parking spots.

Al Muntazah Park

C-Ring Road and Muntazah Street
9am - 10pm
According I think that this could be considered the oldest park in Qatar. Very large trees and plain grass areas. As far as I'm aware, this park is only for women and children (up to the age of 9 if you're a boy). As with most parks, it gets pretty busy in the weekends. This park is also being renovated to update it and give it a modern touch. It's going to be divided into four sections when complete. A water feature, skating area, family zone, and a small zoo.

Dahl Al Hamam Park

Madinat Khalifa North
4pm - 12am | 8am - 12am Friday and Saturday
CThis park has recently been finished and is yet again being expanded. It was aiming to be the number one park destination in Qatar, however that's since changed as the largest one in the Middle East is being built in Al Rayyan. That's not to say that this isn't a nice place either of course. It hosts cafes, toilets, playgrounds, football fields, cycle tracks, and an amphitheatre. It's also a nice place to visit at night, and so far it doesn't get as crowded as Al Bidda Park.

Museum Park

Doha Corniche
8am - 11pm
This is a great park to go to if you want to have a mixed day. It's right next to the museum, so you can go in for a quick view, it overlooks the Corniche, and has some great places to sit to enjoy a picnic. The area might be under a bit of renovation as they expand the park but it's still a place to unwind and have a relaxing day.

Sheraton Park Project to be ready by end of 2014

Sheraton Westbay
8am - 11pm
I think this has to my favourite park. I'd say it's because it has a combination of nature and has a perfect view of the skyline. I'm a city person but it doesn't mean I don't like look at the sea and greenery too. You'll get a view of one of Qatar's famous icons too, the Sheraton hotel. It looks like a Mayan temple.
